Judge Dehn honored with TZD state award

 Judge James Dehn, Isanti County District Court Judge, received the first Judicial/Court System Star Award presented by the Minnesota Towards Zero Death program. Presenting the award to Judge Dehn at the Minnesota TZD state conference is Sue Groth, Director of the Office of Traffic, Safety and Technology, Minnesota Department of Transportation.
This award honors outstanding efforts in the judicial community to reduce traffic fatalities in Minnesota. Judge Dehn is recognized for his DWI “last place of drink” multi-year tracking program, the creation of a community/bar partnership, and was instrumental in the creation of the SAFE Cab program in Isanti County.
